"Our idea about agriculture" in the newly edited ILSA company profile

The Ilsa company profile was updated in 2018. The common thread in this newly edited book, in line with the company values, is environmental sustainability, which is demonstrated by the facts that have been outlined in this document. Ilsa is an Italian company – founded in 1956 and based in the Vicenza province – that specialises in agrotechnology and biotechnology.


The book explains the Ilsa's vigorous commitment toward the search for high-efficiency plant nutrition products, starting from the identification of renewable sources and their valorisation, thanks to innovative industrial processes characterised by a low environmental impact. An easy-to-read volume with clear contents and intuitive graphics. It is a tangible sign of the importance that the company gives to dialogue with its stakeholders.


It presents the various business functions, statistics, strategies, objectives, achievements and areas for improvement. It describes the agreement with the Biolchim group to become jointly the world's largest producer of biostimulants for crops.

It traces the latest improvements of management systems that have a direct impact on the environmental footprint, which is closely monitored by the company in its OEF/PEF analysis (Organisation/Product Environmental Footprint). The paragraph about certifications has been expanded to include both those relating to company procedures and those relating to the use of Ilsa products in organic farming, with respect to the various protocols in force in the world macro regions.

The chapters dedicated to expansion abroad have been integrated thanks to important efforts made in the sales and regulatory areas; this has led to the registrations of Ilsa products in new countries: the trade activity is now extended to 49 nations in the world. The company financial aspects are reported with great attention to their readability.  Paragraphs have been expanded to include the latest projects, such as Biopol, which deals with the production of natural polymers from vegetable sources for the leather industry, and Rise Phosphorus Efficiency (RPE), which focuses on increasing the effectiveness of the use of phosphate fertilizers.
